NorLCA has historically operated within the European Nordic Regions, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland. However, we would like to extend the invitation to this year’s symposium to stakeholders in the Global North, thus encouraging Canada, USA, Russia and Greenland to join the dialogue and contribute to our communal knowledge-base. Other countries are also invited to participate. Through expanded collaboration between the full spectrum of stakeholders within life cycle thinking, we wish to support an increased application of life cycle thinking and sustainability assessments in the Northern regions, thus having as the 2014 theme Global Sustainability Challenges – Northern Approaches.
